For the second year in a row the Plumbing Contractors Association of Long Island Donates $100,000 for Tunnel to Towers Foundation at Annual Golf Outing
Melville, NY – The Plumbing Contractors Association of Long Island (“PCALI”) raised $100,000 at its 29th Annual Golf Outing to benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that honors the sacrifice of America’s heroes, our first responders and their families.
The funds will directly support the foundation’s initiatives, which include providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star families and fallen first responders with young children, as well as constructing specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. Tunnel to Towers is also actively working to end veteran homelessness and ensure that America will Never Forget the events and sacrifices of September 11, 2001.
“Thank you to our members and supporters for their generosity and joining us for a day of golf and friendship,” said Jeff Connelly, President of PCALI. “For the second year in a row it is an honor to support an organization doing such meaningful work for our nation’s heroes and their families.”
